Controller Voyager-2008

GSM/GPRS/GPS controller Voyager-2008

The latest addition to the Voyager family. Voyager-2008's differs from it's sisters by an order of magnitude richer functionality. More important additions to hardware are interfacing with vehicles CAN-bus (J1939 / FMS protocol) and RFID tag readers.

Fuel level sensor

Fuel is, what heats passions in transport and everything revolves around it. It is the largest component in the cost of transport services. Verifying of costs is a precondition of dicipline. Enforcing dicipline leads to cost efficiency. Methods of verifycation differ, a very good and inexpensive one is autonomous fuel level sensor. This fuel level sensor is an add on to GPS/GPRS monitoring controller Voyager and F-Track monitoring system. Fuel level sensors measure fuel amount in tank(s), F-Track registers sensor readings with a few litre accuracy, detecting refuelings and fuel losses. A fuel loss alerts driver and sends alarm message to office.

Working principle and technical data of diesel fuel level sensor

The fuel level sensor is a steel rod, installed into fuel tank. The measuring element is a capacitor whose capacity changes proportionally to fuel level in fuel tank. Sensors processor transductes capacity into litres, averages the result and forwards it to Voyager controller. One controller may service up to 3 fuel level sensors.
